Accessibility statement

Our target is level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. We have not had the site formally audited by an outside party, so we do not claim full conformance.

On October 31, 2026 we ran automated checks on the current site: axe-core (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules) on a sample of 18 pages at desktop and phone widths, Lighthouse on a sample of pages, and a keyboard-only walk-through of the main navigation.

Most pages tested, including the contact, about, privacy and FAQ pages, showed no automated violations. Automated tools catch only part of what affects real users, so an empty result is not proof a page is accessible.

These were found in that pass and are being fixed:

• On phones, the menu does not move keyboard focus into the menu when it opens, so Tab can reach links hidden behind it.
• The small legal line in the footer is slightly below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for text.
• Some large decorative numbers on practice pages are low contrast.
• On the home page, the faded years in the timeline are low contrast and two labels use ARIA attributes incorrectly.
