IT Health Check for Your Business
A conversation about where your backups, security and Microsoft 365 setup actually stand, followed by a short written report on what we would fix first. Book it by phone or through the contact form; the report is yours either way.
Call or send us a message to book a time. We are staffed 24/7.
How to book
Call (289) 582-9930 or use the booking form with your name, your company, roughly how many staff and devices you have, and the IT worry at the top of your list. We are staffed 24/7 and will reply to set a time.
Common starting points: ransomware or cyber risk, slow response from a current provider, backups nobody has tested, Microsoft 365 problems, rising IT costs, or no IT support at all. We do not share your details with anyone.
What the health check covers
Six areas where small and mid-sized businesses most often have gaps they cannot see. They are the same control areas as our printable IT risk self-check, so you can run that first if you like.
Backups & recovery
Whether your data, including Microsoft 365 mail, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, is actually backed up, and whether anyone has ever tested a restore.
Identity & access
Multi-factor authentication coverage, admin-account hygiene, and whether departed staff still have working logins.
Email security
Whether your domain publishes SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and whether DMARC is enforcing, the setting that decides if your domain can be impersonated.
Endpoint protection & patching
What is actually installed on your machines, whether updates are applied on a cycle, and whether anything is running an operating system past its end-of-support date.
Microsoft 365 configuration
Tenant ownership, licence sprawl, mail-forwarding rules and the security defaults that most tenants never have switched on.
Support model & response
Who you call when something breaks, what your current agreement actually covers, and where the gaps are between the two.
How it works
1. You get in touch
Call or email with the details above. No preparation is needed, though it helps to know who holds admin access to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and who manages your domain.
2. A conversation about how your IT runs
We go through the six areas with you using plain questions. Nothing is installed and nothing is scanned without your written say-so.
3. A short written report
What looks solid, what has gaps, and what we would fix first and why. It is yours to keep and to show anyone, including your current provider.
What you will need to answer
The useful questions are concrete. When did someone last restore a file from backup, and how long did it take? Does every account, including the owner's, use multi-factor sign-in? Who still has a login after leaving? What does your domain's DMARC record say? Which machines run an operating system past its end-of-support date?
If you do not know some of the answers, that is normal and it is part of what the report records. You can check your email authentication yourself beforehand with the email spoofing check.
Questions about the health check
A conversation covering backups, multi-factor authentication, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), endpoint protection, patching, Microsoft 365 configuration and your current support model, followed by a short written report listing what we found and what we would fix first. Ask us what it costs when you book; there is no obligation to go further.
No. There is no contract, and the report is yours whether or not you ever work with us. We offer it because businesses that see their gaps in writing often want help closing them, and some of them choose us.
No. Many businesses use it as a second opinion on their current provider or internal setup. The report is written so you can hand it to whoever manages your IT today.
Get the inclusions in writing and compare them line by line: what the helpdesk covers and when, whether MFA is enforced, whether backups are restore-tested, who owns your Microsoft 365 tenant and domain, and the exit terms. Our managed IT quote checker tests any proposal, including ours, against 22 items.
No. If an account is compromised or files are being encrypted, call the 24/7 incident line at (289) 582-9930, or see what to do in a cyber incident.
