Private Residence and Estate Technology
Large homes collect a lot of technology. We make it work together, keep it secure and take responsibility for it.

Overview
A modern estate can have dozens of connected systems from different installers: Wi-Fi, cameras, gates, lighting, audio, climate, pool and generator controls. We design and look after the network underneath them, keep the household's computers and phones in order, and are the one call when something stops working.
What we look after
Whole-home network
Wired backbone, access points and separate networks for family, guests, staff and building systems.
Cameras and entry
Camera, gate and door systems on their own network, with remote viewing locked down.
Property records
A current record of every system, installer, warranty and who holds each admin login.
One call
We take the call, find which system is at fault and bring in the right trade.
Why technology in large homes goes wrong
Most problems in large homes are not one failed device. The builder's low-voltage contractor, the AV integrator, the alarm company and the internet provider each put in their own equipment, often their own router, and nobody owns how it fits together. Wi-Fi drops between floors, cameras stop recording without anyone noticing, and the passwords stay with whichever installer set them up.
We start with a walk-through and an inventory, then design one network with proper access points, wired backhaul where it matters and separate segments for family, guests, staff and building systems. Everything is written down, admin credentials move into the household's own vault, and the equipment is monitored, so a failure can be picked up without waiting for the family to report it.
What we document for every property
A residence should not depend on one installer's memory. The property record we keep is owned by the household and covers the following.
None of this replaces the trades who installed each system. It means that when something fails, anyone the family calls can quickly see what is there, who owns it and how it is connected.
- Internet circuits, account numbers and the provider's support contact for each property.
- Network diagram showing the cabinet, switches, access points and which segment each building system sits on.
- Each camera, gate, door and building controller, with its installer, warranty end date and firmware status.
- Where every admin credential is stored in the household vault, and who has been given access to it.
- Power and backup arrangements: which equipment is on a battery backup or generator circuit, and what goes down first in an outage.
- A short contact sheet so staff know who to call for each system.
How a private client engagement starts
Every private client engagement follows the same four stages, whatever the size of the household.
Confidential call
People, properties and concerns discussed in confidence before anything is written down.
Inventory
Every account, device, network and property system listed with its owner.
Secure
Sign-in, recovery, networks and devices fixed in order of risk.
Look after
Updates, monitoring and a direct line, with records kept current as the household changes.
Frequently asked questions
We are not an AV or automation dealer. We build and run the network those systems rely on, secure them, and work with your integrator, who stays responsible for their equipment and programming.
Before the walls close. Cable runs, access point locations, a ventilated network cabinet with clean power, and conduit to outbuildings are cheap during construction and expensive afterwards. We can review drawings with your builder and low-voltage contractor.
The household should. Admin credentials for the network, cameras and building systems go into a password vault you control, shared with us and with installers as needed. No one person's phone should be the only place a password lives.
Yes. Family and staff devices are set up, updated and backed up under the same arrangement, as described on our family device and privacy page.
